5G-EMERGE Consortium

In Phase 1 of the 5G-EMERGE project, 25 companies from Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK collaborated to develop the distributed edge technology and service-delivery features, along with other necessary enhancements that comply to international standards.

In Phase 2, additional companies have joined and Finland is added to the list of countries.

The EBU leads the project, which is primarily funded by ESA.
